As you may be aware, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has been conducting a comprehensive survey to gather information on Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions from consumer or commercial products sold in California. Their main aim is to update the emissions inventory and evaluate the feasibility of further reducing emissions in the state of California.
If your organization sells or supplies any consumer or commercial products for use in California, we would like to bring to your attention the mandatory requirement for all companies to complete the ‘Consumer and Commercial Products Survey’. This is the third year of a three year reporting cycle and the deadline for submitting data pertaining to products sold in California in the year 2015 is November 1, 2016. Failure to complete the required survey may result in fines of up to $10,000 per violation, per day.
Please note that this survey is mandatory for any company whose name appears on the label of a consumer product sold in California in the years 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Would you like to determine whether or not you are responsible for completing the CARB survey?
Are you finding it overwhelming to complete the CARB survey?
Does your organization require assistance with completing the CARB survey?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, please contact Focal Point Research as we would be more than happy to assist you with completing the 2015 CARB survey and complying with this requirement.
