Les Merveilleuses Ladurée Rose Blush
Only being sold online on sites like Amazon or in stores in France at Sephora; the Les Merveilleuses Ladurée rose blush is far from being one of your conventional blushes. Instead of being a pressed powder, the pigment has been lightly dusted over soft pieces of paper shaped and dyed to look like rose petals. The idea is to swish a powder blush in a container full of the petals to pick up the pigment.
Even though it applies just like a regular blush, customers have fallen in love with this innovative new way of getting blush and the Victorian-like packaging.
Recently labeled as one of the most beautiful lipsticks ever made, the Kailijumei Lipsticks (also known as the Flower Jelly Lipstick) blew up on Instagram early in June of this year. They are a clear lipsticks filled with speckled gold flakes and a small coloured flower. The GravityMud firming treatment at first glance just sounds like a regular skincare product. The product claims to be good for all skin types and will firm and tighten the skin. The gimmick is that once applied the product turns from white to chrome silver, and once dried becomes a peel off mask. A limited edition blue version of the mask has also been marketed. Some of the innovative ingredients include Vizitight (provides tighter-feeling skin), Teaoxi Complex (help skin look and feel firmer), Lunarlift (helps skin feel tighter and toned), and Cosmiplexion (helps skin feel more resilient and younger). This innovative product seems ideal for those trying to prevent and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Lipstick Queen Frog Prince Collection
While not new to the cosmetic industry, colour changing cosmetics are making a comeback. The Frog Prince lipstick looks green in the tube, but when applied to the lip comes out as a berry colour. It’s not magic; it’s all thanks to an innovative pH-driven dye called Red 27. Red 27 reacts with your skin/lip pH to transform the colour of the product. Therefore the exact colour of the product will slightly vary depending on the pH of your lips. The collection also includes a green colour changing blush, and a blue lipstick that turns purple.
